Gremo!
Review: Stop magazine - Gremo!
If their Ventilator, published a few years ago, swooshed things away,
now it’s time for new compact matter, that goes right on and on
without stopping.
Gremo!, the latest 'studio' album of instrumental (a bit vocal too) band
The Stroj is certainly better than its predecessor. This time less noisy
and less powerful, just the opposite than we expected from the team, which
has a rich instrumentarium (tons of barrels, containers, cooking vent,
whole boiler ...) This time it's all about harmony and music, both still
holding back each member, but on the other hand providing more space for
unexpected arrangements, thus thrilling the listeners (Heat, War, The
Art Of Rolling, Kung Fu). As in every team, progress is noticeable through
the rising mileage of live concerts. Concerts, which are the physical
essence of this album. The album, which best point is, that it goes miles
away from those Tambours Du Bronx, which they’re often cynically
told about.
